/ 01 The Band

Re‑formed in 2024. Same name, new lineup, same itch.

Retrospect first played Montreal and southern Quebec corporate stages from 1994 to 2007. Brent Rougeau rebuilt the band in November 2024 with Ross Burt, and the six‑piece played five Eastern Ontario shows in its first year. Two lead vocalists, Gaetana Di Trapani and Bryan Van Royal, trade off across a setlist that runs from Steve Miller and the Wilburys to Sheryl Crow, Amanda Marshall, and today.

The lineup is deeper than the room usually asks for. Bassist Steven Bastien has 2,000 shows behind him with EMI and Aquarius Records artists. Drummer Michel Fortin runs growth marketing at Drumeo when he isn’t tribute‑touring KISS and Zeppelin sets. Brent has been writing and recording since age sixteen.

Booked through Brent Rougeau. Full 1,000W PA, in‑ear monitors, two drum kits, multiple guitars. Ready for vineyards, festivals, weddings, corporate.
